The patches have been designed to be used either a couple of times a day for up to an
hour or if kept on for continuous use, will last 24-28 hours of continuous use if covered
with a secondary dressing!
Depending on the application, while there should be no allergic reactions to the patches, it
would be ideal to test the patch on the skin for 5/10 minutes first and monitor the reaction.
If all clear, apply for 10min – 20 min twice (2 X) per day. For short uses you can leave the
clear tear off lid on the top side of the patch to prevent evaporation off the top of the
patches while the underside is delivering moisture and ingredients into the skin.
For scarring, cuts, cracked nipples from breastfeeding, the patches can be kept on for as
long as desired (a few hours/day)/ until they dry out, either covered with a secondary
dressing/bra (in the case of nursing moms) or left uncovered.
If left uncovered they will dry out much faster. Always test the patches for 10-20min before deciding to keep them on for
24 hours and keep monitoring during the first 24 hours.
Note: Secondary dressing can cause allergic reactions (the glue and chemical used in their
manufacture). Pls test a small piece of secondary dressing on a piece of healthy/good skin
for a few hours to ensure no allergic reaction occurs!
Ensure a clean skin for active ingredients to be able to penetrate. Do not use an oil/ointment etc
on the skin prior to treating it! Ointments can be applied afterwards, but if the patches are being
re-used, then ensure that before the next use, the skin has been cleaned, open wound rinsed
out with saline.
Apply patches as per above to cover the entire wound and surrounding skin. Patches can be
cut to shape with a sterile pair of scissors if needs be but, must cover entire area.
After use, the patches may be rinsed if there is any exudate on them and put back into the base
container + lid and stored into a zip-lock bag to ensure they do not dry out. The patches shrink
and dehydrate a bit after each use and will eventually dry out completely.
Clinical Evidence of HOCL (FDA approved natural ingredient)
pH Neutral - Super-Oxidised Solution for first-line treatment of Acute & Chronic wounds including Burns
The oxidant produced by the white blood cells Hypochlorous acid or (HOCl) is amongst the
most potent natural disinfectants. It is non-toxic to humans, and is highly effective as an
antimicrobial agent with rapid action. HOCl is generated under specific electro-chemical
conditions using a combination of water, salt (NaCl) and electricity.
